On the morning of September 21, the founding meeting of Jiangshan Textile and Apparel Industry Association and the first member meeting were held. Wang Liyun, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, participated.

It is reported that after decades of development, Jiangshan City's textile and apparel industry has formed a relatively complete industrial chain. Among them, there are 13 enterprises above designated size, and leading companies such as Jiansheng Group and Zhongxin Wool Spinning have emerged. Last year, Jiangshan City's textile and apparel industry achieved a total output value of 1.275 billion yuan and a profit of 113 million yuan, driving nearly 4,000 jobs.

Wang Liyun congratulated the establishment of the Textile and Apparel Industry Association. She said that the textile and apparel industry is a traditional industry in Jiangshan City. It has a long history of development and occupies a very important position in the process of industrial economic development in Jiangshan City. It is hoped that after the establishment of the association, mechanism construction and organizational leadership will be strengthened, opportunities will be seized, the pattern will be enlarged, unity and cooperation will be pursued, and great achievements in the industry will be pursued. Relevant enterprises should pay attention to practicing "internal skills", increase their own "blood-making" function, continuously expand the scale of production of enterprises, and promote the great development of enterprises. Relevant departments and units should continue to strengthen the service of "shop small two", accurate connection, promote the healthy and rapid development of enterprises, and jointly promote the formation of the city's textile and apparel industry to enhance the overall pattern.

The meeting adopted the articles of association and rules of the textile and apparel industry association, and elected Jiang Feng, director of Zhejiang Jiansheng Group Co., Ltd. and general manager of Jiangshan Base, as the president of the association. At present, Jiangshan Textile and Garment Industry Association currently has 60 member units.
